General
GAIA Converter offers a wide range of power components and accessories to build a complex power supply by building block approach.

Generally, a power supply requires the following functions :
• Bus adaptation : ie protection against spikes, transients and drop-out coming from the input bus but also power factor correction adaptation from AC input bus,
• EMI filters to reduce noise rejected on the input bus,
• Monitoring and back-up features in case of failure of the input bus,
• Power stage with different output voltages and current.

GAIA Converter has classified the different functions in 3 stages as follow :

STAGE FUNCTION GAIA SERIES
Bus adaptation stage To protect against agressive constraints from input bus.
To comply with Electromagnetic Interferences.
PGDS or LGDS series

KGxxx series
Hold-up and Monitoring stage Auxiliary function such as monitoring and hold-up modules. HUGD series
Power Stage The heart of the system : the DC/DC and AC/DC converters.

MGDM/I series
