GAIA Converter has an immediate opening for an experienced power electronic engineer at its corporate headquarters in Bordeaux, France.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering with at least three years industrial experience designing switch mode DC-DC converters.

Job Description :

You will be part of a design team under the responsability of the enginering development manager. In this role you will develop new AC/DC or DC/DC converters.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development of new, innovative platforms of AC/DC and DC-DC converters.
• Advanced technology development research.
• Qualification of the new developed products in cooperation with production.
• Inform and shares know-how about new technologies or platforms to all design team

Minimum Requirements

• Has profound knowledge and understanding of circuit design for power electronics with at least 3 years of experience
• Knows the mathematical and analytical methods to design and analyze electrical circuits. Is skilled in the use of simulation and measurement tool.
• Has knowledge in the development requirements for high quality products
