Field Application Engineer/Customer Support




Job Description :

In this role you will provide detailed technical support from GAIA Converter center in Bordeaux
You will be responsible for applications engineering on various projects and customers.
You will assist in the design, development, evaluation and test of GAIA Converter products in customers application.
You will perform a wide variety of different tasks from customers recommendations, working on schematics, supporting our distributors worldwide, ensurring training, customer visits.
You will travel to visit our distributors/customers onregular basis.
You will work under the supervision of a Director Field Applications engineer.

Responsibilities will include:

• Visit accounts, resolve customer problems, and make customer presentations as necessary
• Develop relationships with customer Engineering
• Establish a visible presence at the customer
• Track competitive environment at the customer
• Win new design-ins

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge in analog electronics
• Strong organizational skills with attention to details
• High level of computer literacy in common software packages
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Effective customer presentation skills
• Ability to travel on regular basis
